4-03pm
Today has been hard work! The show was the easiest part! Had a good time with Jack and then it was the music to prepare for two shows – tomorrow and Friday. The best part of the music preparation is the fun of finding Christmas music again with the Christmas tunes beginning in earnest tomorrow! But it all took more time than I bargained for (throw in a few interruptions) and I only left the office close to 1pm. I was tired, my eyes dry and sore from squinting at a computer monitor for the best part of 7 hours!
I put petrol in my car and then lumbered over Ou Kaapse Weg to get home. I turned into Ou Kaaps and about half a kilometre up, a long green lorry was trundling very slowly down the pass, followed, as you can imagine by a very very long backlog of cars. “YaY!” I thought, “I can count cars!” Between that point and the turn off to the Silvermine Reservoir at the top of the mountain ( probably a distance of 2.5km), I passed an incredible 238 cars behind that truck! Crazy hey!
After I got home, I had some salad for lunch with a cup of coffee and then did a little work, before loading Granny into the car and taking her to the doctor. Nothing serious. She has just got lesions on her face & hands that were dry and itchy. The Dr. got his liquid nitrogen and had a field day freezing spots! Granny is already looking as if she has some strange and exotic communicable disease! Blotches all over her!
So now we are having pizza & salad for dinner and I am going running with Stacey this evening.

Of course today is Wednesday…and I loved this picture I spotted on Facebook!
Enjoy each moment of each day, even when they are hard work and tiresome!
2 Corinthians 4:16 says “Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day”.
That’s a relief to know!
God bless you loads!
In His grip!
