One of the biggest problems with my area is the huge number of moles that frequent the underground tunnels they liberally make! As a result roads begin to become a bit undulating. Add to that the fact that they have not been properly maintained for 20 years leads to understanding as to why they are so worn. Today, I heard the rumble of trucks and when I left to go out, I saw what was going on. Today is the great Sun Valley Road Makeover. They seem to be resurfacing. On my return, I took photos of them all over the place…this is where the mole damage is particularly bad….

They let me through but said it would be a good idea for me to stay home because the ‘truck will start resurfacing soon.’
I’ve got lots of work to do from home, so hanging out here is not a bad idea and when all the fun begins, I’ll have a good view. I can already see a neighbour hanging over her wall watching the proceedings! It is great to live in a quiet neighbourhood where the most exciting thing that happens is the road being resurfaced!

Romans 13:6-7 has an interesting thing to say about tax.
Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honour, then honour”
It’s the wise thing to do.
