Monday
Today was the day…
I worked 9 hours and 9 minutes. It was a good solid work day.
I did laundry
I was up very early so I went to a jog/walk around the block. I ran down the downhills and walked up the uphills. It wasn’t far but it got my heart rate up. I went before 7am, so saw the sunrise. There were far fewer people on the road and it was wonderful.
We arranged for Courage to go to the Fish Hoek flat and start cleaning it up. I made a sign for the curious people. If I saw someone working during a lock down and the place they were working had a sign on the window, I would definitely go read it. If they do, they’ll read:
Courage will just arrive there tomorrow – he has the remote and the key and he can just get on with it. He is just so relieved to be working again.
That was the day – it’s been a good day.
Corona stats for South Africa are out for today. We went up 637 cases in the last 24 hours. 12 people died. This takes our case count to 10652 with 205 deaths. 4357 people have recovered – there are 6089 active cases. 77 people are critical. There have been 356067 tests done, so they say. More than half the cases are in the Western Cape.
James 5:13
Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise.
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
