Justin Holcomb said, “Good Friday marks the day when wrath and mercy met at the cross. That’s why Good Friday is so dark and so Good.”
Today we have had a quiet day. Regardless of what I do today, my mind reflects the death of Christ. He impacts my life, each and every day, so while today is the most important day in the Christian calendar, Christ’s death on the cross changes my behaviour for tomorrow, the next day and the next. O death, where is your sting?
O hell, where is your victory?
O church, come stand in the light
Our God is not dead
He’s alive! He’s alive!
1 Corinthians 15:55
“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”
We need not be afraid. Death has indeed lost its sting.
#262 of my 1000 thanks is for warm clothes as winter draws near. Last night it was cold!
These are the days!
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
