Golf at Bellville

In a short while, Mike and I are heading out to hit the fairways of Bellville Golf club.

We went for a practice round on Wednesday, when we got there in time for sunrise…

Bellville GC is hilly with beautiful well kept rolling fairways…

The course is not long – about 8 or 9km is what we walked altogether, but do expect some ups and downs and with the sloping terrain it can be very challenging. This is the water hole…

I loved watching the squirrels scampering about….

This one had buried a nut …. how it knew where it was, I don’t know, but it burrowed and burrowed and eventually was victorious…

It was so profitable going on Wednesday because we got an idea of the danger zones. Today is the City of Cape Town’s corporate golf day and so will be a whole day affair.  When we return after dark, I will be ready for bed! 🙂  The one difference between today and Wednesday is that today the wind is howling! I hope it won’t be quite so bad in Bellville.

In my Bible reading this morning,

Psalm 54:4

“Surely God is my help; the Lord is the One who sustains me.”

I trust His Word.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
