Ginger Cat Appreciation Day

Tuesday

Dear Elsie

We missed Ginger Cat Appreciation Day! That was a fail. It was last Friday.

So new in our ginger cat ownership, this was a major fail but fortunately the cats neither knew about their day, nor did they care it was forgotten. As long as they get fed, they are happy. Each day we move their bed from the study to the corner of the lounge where the spring sun streams in and where it’s warm and snug on a cold day.

These two play-fight a lot. They have epic wrestling matches which are so entertaining, but after all is said and done, this is how I find them.

Cats in arms.

I found out that Claw’d was born in about December 2021 & Raiku about 4 months later, so both cats are under 2, with Claw’d being older. I asked the previous owner to send me some photos of them as kittens. So cute to see Claw’d bigger than Raiku.

They are both too adorable and have won our hearts completely. We couldn’t have got a better duo if we had auditioned!

Today I worked 8 hours. Now we are watching tennis.

It’s been a good day & to be honest every day is ginger cat appreciation day!

Psalm 146:5
Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord their God.

It’s not about now – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Gran xx 🙂
