Full, Fabulous, Fun Day…

6-02pm

I left home at 7-20am and arrived home 9 hours later! The journey began in a spectacular fashion. I drove over Ou Kaapse Weg and just HAD to stop to fully take in one of the most dramatic sunrises I have ever witnesses…

We were high above the clouds.

My first stop was to be Cassia Restaurant at Nitida Farm in Durbanville farmlands. Once there, I stayed in the car and phoned my host, Delarine, a new friend I had never met before. She had invited me, as a surprise, to her 50th birthday breakfast bash! None of the party, not even her husband, knew I was coming! She phoned me a couple of weeks ago and asked if I could attend. I knew I was speaking at an event today, but when she said it was breakfast, it was hard to resist. I love surprises! Delarine came out to meet me…

She is such a lovely person, loving God and loving people and wanting to do the best for both. I sat next to her and she introduced me to some of her friends, much to their surprise! We have a wonderful time.  Delarine and her husband Clive,

I made lots new friends, like the MC, Keith (who did a fabulous job) and Rhoda….

And I met lovely mom and daughter Heather and Abigail…

Hi Abigail! Stay awesome! The Lord has such a great plan for you!

Delarine spoke beautifully of how God has sustained and PRESERVED her. She gave us preserve jars with bath salts that help preserve us. I used mine as soon as I got home. 🙂  God is our sustainer and preserver…

The Lord preserves the faithful!

The food was great and the fellowship warm. After a wonderful three hours, I said goodbye and headed to Claremont to Friends Cafe, where a bunch of women had gathered for a bit of lunch, shopping and ministry…

I really enjoyed telling the story of how I met Mike! 😀  Friends is a lovely venue, centrally situated (Belvedere Rd, Claremont) and family friendly…

The food is always so beautifully presented and is tasty!

Wow, I met some amazing women. We all have a story. Whatever position you find yourself, be the best you can be. The Lord will preserve you!

My cup is full.

And now, I’m lying in bed and intend to stay here for many hours!
