The Saturday before Christmas is always busy. I woke early, sorted Granny and went to the Mall in time for early opening time – 7am, only to find that early opening time was 8am! So I came home, watered the lawn and returned with Mike. 2 hours later, we got home, in time for me to unpack the shopping and then to scoot over the mountain to pick up my friend Debbie again. Bonus! She had more time before leaving this evening for the airport, so she came home with me and helped me with putting washing on the line and cleaning out the cupboards in the cottage. It was such a help! So now the cottage is just about sorted and ready for Julian and Jessica who arrive late tomorrow evening. 🙂
So Christmas is three days away. Some weeks ago I spotted this on FB and saved it. Today I bought the fruit for it and now I’m really looking forward to making it for Christmas morning…

I feel as if I am on leave already! I need to go and clean the kitchen!
