4-17pm
Show prep is now complete for the year! The only thing that has to happen is for me to record the show for 26th Dec and 2nd Jan. That I will do tomorrow! 🙂 Straight after that recording I have appointments at 10-30 and 12 noon! So on Thursday I will construct the programme cue sheets for those two holidays and when that is done, THAT IS THAT!
Yippeeeee!!!! I may even get to spend some time with my husband who is on holiday at the moment!
Today’s sunrise was nothing less that absolutely spectacular. Notice the bird…
The highlight of the day came when I met Trish at Friends Cafe. Yay! Sanity and rest prevailed in a hectic day.It was lovely to catch up with Trish and we enjoyed an amazing chicken wrap! It was yum! Thank you Trish for the treat! I OWE YOU!
When Friends Cafe first opened some months ago, I visited them and found service a bit slow, the food needed heating and I got the feeling they were still trying to find their feet. I have been back several times since and am thrilled to see things improve. Today we found the waitrons to be knowledgeable, enthusiastic and attentive. The food remains of a very high standard and didn’t come cold! The ambiance is great and the decor is tasteful with lots of attention to detail. I would now describe it as an impressive quality eatery and if I’m having lunch with someone who lives the other side of town, I never hesitate in suggesting it as a middle meeting point.
Colossians 3:23: Whatever you do, work at it wholeheartedly as though you were doing it for the Lord and not merely for people.
Good advice from the apostle Paul!
Once this blog is posted, it will be time to go & check on Granny who has been a bit neglected. David’s off to get take-aways. Mike is out at an appointment after which he has another one. My eyes need a break. Tonight we’ll probably go out for a bite and soon it will be all downhill to Christmas! 🙂
Lots of love
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
