Formidable!

Monday

Formidable. That’s the word we have heard to describe our build!

Our house will be large but not huge. It is formidable in that it inspires fear! We often wonder how we got into this position. The property came to us unexpectedly and R700000 under the asking price. That was for the two-bed cottage on 500 square metres of land. The cottage was built right at the front of the property allowing 300 or so square metres behind. It seemed a waste to have free land and not to use it.

And so here we are, almost 5 years later, with the build on its way and there’s no turning back!

It was Nelson Mandela who once said, “it always seems impossible until it is done.”

Yip. He couldn’t have been more accurate. We will believe it when we see it. Once the house is built, we should be able to see it in this photo…albeit it a tiny speck.

Today I worked 4 hours, two in the morning and two in the afternoon. I also washed the linen and went to gym.

It’s been a good day.

Ephesians 1:11-12

In Him we were also chosen…in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of His glory.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂

Gym:

I swam for 40 minutes, but the strangest thing prevented me from a proper training swim – the water was too warm. It was 29C. I did feel good afterwards!
