Today one of the things we did was nip over to CTM and look at fittings and flooring. Mike and I chose the flooring we want. It’s actually tile…
It will be perfect for a beach cottage vibe. Onto the bathrooms.
We need 6 toilets. Our throne of choice! We may not get this but it’s the one we like the most.
I forgot to take a photo of the basin, but it was a drop in basin for R599. We need 7 basins.
The taps we liked the most…we need 7 of those as well.
The shower fittings…we need 5 of these.
And a bath. We chose a relatively small one.
It was a profitable hour, although we didn’t spend a cent. We looked. We discussed. We photographed. We made notes. We walked out.
We don’t have expensive taste. All our choices bring us in under budget.
David came for lunch. He and Mike watched Japan beat Scotland which was tense at times. I did a bit of work and I’m now on top of most of the work.
I didn’t get my cancellation for the orthodontist, so I’ve got a fixed appointment on Tuesday. End of the weekend. I’m excited for the week ahead.

Final rest day! Hooray!
Braces:
Day 334 – today it’s 11 months! Yip. 11 months down. The ortho said my treatment would be 22-26 months in total. If it’s 22 months, we are half way there. Some months ago, he said we are WAY ahead of schedule, so I’m optimistic that from tomorrow we are definitely on the back stretch. Hoping for surgery next month. I should find out on Tuesday if that will happen.
