Thursday
Today was the day…
There was a massive storm last night with very high winds. We woke to the news that Elsie’s Peak Tower blew over…this is before, on a sunny day…
On a walk a few months ago…
This morning…it’s gone.
And this is a guy called Eras Gous posted to Fish Hoek FB group…
The winds were very strong and we heard furniture moving around on the balconies last night. This morning we found large pots had lost their plants and blown down our stairs. The lid had been blown off the Weber braai and the wind had lifted some of our artificial grass. It must have been very strong to bring down the tower. I don’t think it will be restored. It’s an old radio tower from a couple of decades ago…or so I read.
Meanwhile, back at home, Mike & Courage designed a gabion basket.
…and to make it easier to visualize, he made a paper 3-D version..
….which Courage made into reality…
One down, 14 to go!
Believe it or not, it would cost about R2500 to buy one of these ready made. To buy the material and skill Courage, apart from his labour, it costs R300.
End of the work day and tomorrow I think will be quieter.
Luke 7:50
Jesus said, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”
The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
