That was the event of today. Elsie went home. She was packed up in the car seat and didn’t make a peep the whole way. In this photo, David looked a little like this at the same age.
Mike and I drove on ahead and arrived just a very short time before the new family of three. I set about making soup and in the afternoon Adrian, Stace and Elsie all managed an afternoon nap.
It was a busy morning for them, getting discharged and all but a quiet afternoon and a fussy evening. All seems very quiet on the home front right now. It’s wonderful seeing Adrian and Stacey work with their daughter – Adrian is so hands on. He’s brilliant with her and Stacey is a natural. They make such a good team.
This morning, I stayed at the self catering unit to work. Mike went to Worcester golf course to their driving range. I then packed up and we were out around 11am.
#670 of my 1000 thanks is for Suites on 74 which is where we stayed. It was perfect for our purpose. It was close to the hospital (about 400m away). It had secure parking and it had brilliant WiFi. It was so comfortable. If we ever need accommodation in Worcester again, I would absolutely use it.
The only thing I’m missing right now is exercise, but that will come!
Psalm 18:2
The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress and my Saviour; My God is my Rock, in whom I find protection.
Amen!
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
