What am I going to write about today? Quite often what happens with my blog is that something happens…it may be small…like the haddock I bought today that is going to turn into tomorrow’s dinner! But today I have to write about the ‘tea date’ I had with Stacey!!! Oh yeah!!! After work this morning, I took myself off the Blue Route to buy the best priced almonds in town. I had exchanged a few messages with Stacey and said I was going to find a cafe and sit down and have a chat with her. So that’s just what we did. She went onto Gmail talk and we got chatting for a good hour or so about her life and mine! It is a wonderful way to communicate and both of us being fast typists the conversation flowed freely. What did we talk about… oh well….take a look….
I ordered a ham and melon salad which was interesting to say the least…
It was served in half a melon.
The best part about the restaurant was the amazing rose on my table….
…and after we’d had a long chat, she went off to have dinner in Malaysia and I did show prep. I love following Stacey’s Asian life!
Then I went shopping and forgot to buy sugar! Grrrrrrrrrrr!!We have none!
Ah, but I do have castor sugar! Fortunately, we don’t use too much sugar in our house. Now I must dash and do dinner…pasta tonight. Quick and easy.
1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Forgetting sugar doesn’t count. So many other things do, but when we ask, we graciously have God’s forgiveness.
I’m thankful.
