Dear Elsie
Today’s the day that I get to see you! Hence the early blog on a sunny day. It’s been wonderful to have some sunshine today. I think Cape Town has heaved a collective sigh to enjoy some blue skies and warmth ahead of yet another fat cold front expected tomorrow. Calm seas in the meantime.
David came up early for coffee and breakfast as he has a teaching day. Still no improvement. The waiting continues. I read last night that if he has resistance to the current medication, there is another they will put him on. The blood tests on Tuesday will provide the required clarity. It’s 4 weeks on Tuesday since he started treatment and Thursday marks the awful 4 month mark since this medical issue began. It’s been a trial of note.
Meantime the knitting continues. The early blog is because we are waiting for guests to arrive in about an hour and then we will head off to Swellendam for the night. This way I don’t need to take my laptop.
I’m going to go enjoy the sunshine.
Psalm 119:59
I have considered my ways and have turned my steps to your statutes.
It’s not about now – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Gran xx 🙂
