Saturday
Today I laughed at the difference between men and women. Mike, David, Julian and I had breakfast and when we were leaving I looked down the car park at his view…
“Oh, I’d love one of those!” I said enthusiastically. David replied, “Yeah, but they are really expensive.” I said we wouldn’t buy it new. We’d buy second-hand and Dad would do it up.
Collectively, the three of them all thought I was talking about the great big yellow digger!
That’s the difference between men and woman! Why would I want a caterpillar? Duh!
After breakfast, I had a productive morning, including a long chat with Stacey. Elsie is doing so well. She is growing and talking almost walking. She is looking so toddler like! So fun to hear about her.
Julian arrived at lunchtime and we set off to walk through Silvermine from Gate 2. We parked and we were on our way…
We walked for just over three kilometres before turning back. The mist started rolling in.
We felt safe. There was no one around, so I was shocked to just read that a 44-year-old Ukrainian tourist died at East Fort just off Chapman’s Peak today. He was attacked by three men who stole his rucksack. One of them has been arrested, but there’s no going back. A man is dead. I’ve just read the story now.
So shocking and disturbing. The world is full of evil people.
Ukrainian tourist stabbed just off Chapman’s Peak
I’m so heart sore over this. The Lord knows.
1 Corinthians 3:16
Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
