7-09pm
When I got up this morning and went to have my quiet time, before turning the light on, I closed one door, drew curtains and then went to sit down! Before I turned the light on, I half saw a movement and heard a sound…THE CAT had slept inside! Ha! Crossed that boundary sooner than I thought!
As I sat to pray, my mind went to David who is 21 today. I remembered his birth and tried to recall images and events from each year of his life. Our life has certainly been enriched by his antics, his entertainment and sense of humour! I look forward to watching his life unfold. We have been abundantly blessed by our children, who have not given us a day’s trouble. How grateful to God I am for these wonderful young people who love Him first.
Before I left for CCFm, I did this to David’s bathroom mirror…
David arrived at CCFm at 9am and we left immediately to meet Mike at…
…which is at Steenberg Estate. It is beautiful there. This is the restaurant from the entrance side…
The little bridge above, crosses this stream to get to the entrance…This was the view from our table…
Here’s David admiring the view…
After a scrumptious breakfast, Mike went back to work, David went off to ‘varsity and I went and broke the back of the shopping needed for David’s party on Saturday. I came home, unpacked it and had a snooze.
We’ve had Pizza for dinner – I think it would be David’s staple food if he lived alone! Adrian and Stacey came round and now David & Adrian are playing chess and Stacey is playing the piano!
To end, I mentioned on Facebook the other day that Monty had found an ally in Granny…
So sweet! Monty looks like he has arrived! Granny loves him and has such interesting conversations with him! 🙂 I must be off to put Granny to bed!
Psalm 91:2 “I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust.”
God bless you loads!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
