Yes, I said, PARTAY for emphasis! I am just loving this! We are all working together towards David’s 21st tomorrow evening. The idea of a party goes down very well with me. A little organisation goes a long way in making me feel more excited than stressed! We who seldom entertain should have close to 50 bods in our home. Stuff has to be done to make it go smoothly. Some of that stuff was done today. The hiring company arrived….
Some months ago I got 100 old CDs that needed to be ditched put on my desk at CCFm…I didn’t throw them out…21 CDs…
That was all happening this afternoon. This morning, when I got downstairs, “good-morning sleepy head”…

Then it was off to the Rise and Shine show which was visited by Richard, Elton, Alec and Marleine. I just so love having visitors to the studio. Wish it could happen every week! Maybe one day it will!
After the show, I dashed off to Bible study where it was Karin’s 50th birthday! Now! Don’t you wish you could look THIS good at 50?…

Friday evening, now and I need to perform a miracle in the kitchen and somehow feed the masses. I refuse to cook anything new tonight. We must clear the fridge of leftovers. It is groaning under the weight of birthday party goodies for tomorrow. Julian arrives tonight. The big countdown has begun.
Mike is exceptional. He took today off and has worked non-stop since this morning in getting things in order.
I wish I could find a Bible verse that says “she who finds a good husband finds a treasure” like Proverbs 18:22 says about a husband who finds a wife! The best Biblical description I could find of Mike comes out of1 Peter 3.
1 Peter 3:7 “Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honour to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.”
Mike does all of the above and a whole lot more. His prayers should all be answered in no time at all!
I will blog tomorrow afternoon before the party and then give you an account of it all on Sunday!
