David Came Home

Wednesday

Today was the day…

David came home.  He is home for 3 weeks before flying off to see the world. That will be another adventure.

Today, it rained a few times in the morning, but there was also a significant amount of sun. At lunchtime, I took a walk to Fish Hoek for a few supplies. On the way down, I spied out a looming ominous looking cloud.

I got down to the shops and as I left, it started to rain. Fortunately, I had an umbrella – otherwise I would have got drenched! As it was I got pretty wet…specially my shoes. This was the sad view walking home…

It rained all the way. After, I got home and collapsed in a heap, it stopped! Of course it did!

I had a shorter, but successful work day.

Tonight, Julian sleeps on the plane.  A short blog! I’m sitting at my desk and am cold! Time to shower and warm up.

Psalm 119:114

You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in Your Word.

The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
