2 Chronicles 16:9 says ” For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him.”
The Lord is looking. The Amplified Version says ‘the eyes of the Lord run to and fro.’ God is all seeing. god is greater than our hearts and He sees everything (1 John 3:20). There is no place to hide. We are centre stage in the full glare of the spotlight. The audience is One. God sees, not for a moment – and then looking away – no. God sees ALL the time. He ALWAYS has His eye on us. God sees us ALL, ALL of the time, but a certain person catches His attention, and causes Him to pause – to get in closer – to have another look. He’s looking at those whose hearts are FULLY COMMITTED to Him…whose hearts are blameless towards Him. He notices YOU. He sees your heart. He sees your motives. He sees your deepest desire to serve Him and to what is right. That’s when God pauses. He stops when He gets to you. He stops in order to strengthen you. He stops to show Himself strong on your behalf. He stops to give you extra Holy Spirit power to carry on. He wants you to know that He has seen & it is His strength that carries you on. Be FULLY COMMITTED – God is watching.
