Chipping Away at the Chips

Today I spent another few hours at the other house. The pile of wood chips is getting smaller. It was this…

Then it became this….

Now there is even less. A couple of faithful gardeners (Talitha and her Dad)  have taken more away and now there’s about 8-10 bags left. Tomorrow, the rest should go. If it doesn’t, I will put the remainder in a couple of black bags and put them in my garden.

You can see the patio coming to light. That’s why I got a bee in my bonnet to get it done. I wanted the patio available for summer!  Facebook really helped me with this one!

That was from 11 -30am to 3pm.

The other thing that has come in for me this week are the Yachting blogs!

Every time I get them and I have to unravel the complicated explanation of what I must write about, I feel like banging my head against the wall. Why do I do this to myself? I started what I thought was the harder of the two and soon got into it. That one is now done. As it is the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this weekend and the client is in the UAE, I don’t think anyone is expecting them before Monday, so I’ll work on the second over the weekend.

#486 of my 1000 thanks is that one blog is done. I wrote on the benefits of using sailing for corporate team building.  Yes, I know, what the heck do I know about that? Nothing right? Well now I do!

Recruitment is slow. It is not recruitment season and it will pick up in the new year, so I am able to do other stuff like clean out email in boxes. I spent an hour and a half on that this evening.

Blessed to have work.

The only other thing about today is that the water leak is not the cylinder. It’s time to call a plumber. In the meantime, the water gets turned off for most of the day.

1 Peter 1:13

Therefore prepare your minds for action. Be self-controlled. Set your hope fully on the grace to be given you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

These are the days!

Keep the smile going.

God bless you!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
