Friday
Today was the day…
We have ceilings on our level at the new build. I think they put them in yesterday but it was so wet then, I only got to see them today. It’s looking like it’s growing up!
Mike’s down-lights are also ready to be installed. So glad to see those holes with the wires coming through because it meant all our measurements from last Saturday worked out!
It’s been cold and wet these last two days. The problem with us is that the winters are so short and the really cold days so few that we are really not prepared for them. It must be 16C in my house and I am freezing. I’ve had gloves and jackets and blankets to keep warm. I wonder where the heater is!
Today we bought 18 solar panels for new building. We hope to have lots of electricity there as we will also take the 9 we have on our roof.
Meanwhile the Corona uncertainty continues. When we woke up this morning, I asked Mike how he was feeling. No temperature, no cough, no sore throat? Good! You have to take this season one day at a time.
No drinking gin for breakfast for me, but it certainly is a roller coaster ride, especially when you see the rise of cases in South Africa right now.

Dig deep now to ride this out – and here is how:
Hebrews 12:2
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross.
The best is yet to come.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
