Cat Showdown

Wednesday

Dear Elsie

Today was the day the cats had a showdown. They went for each other with lots of hitting, biting & kicking. They are so entertaining to watch and I can’t wait for you to see them. When we are sitting in the lounge, we often have ring-side seats. The threatening stare…

Pounce and subdue

The Raiku retreat…

But an hour or two later, all is forgot…

Meanwhile, Mike and Courage were working on a different project.  The trestle table for Christmas day. Taking it onto the balcony..

Levelling the feet.

Tada….

Pity the wind is predicted to howl on Christmas Day – it’s most unlikely we will have it out on the balcony, but it looks good there today.

The fire in Simon’s Town was bought under control in the early hours. This was last night…someone posted it from Glencairn….

Today we heard it had flared up and was burning toward Rocklands. The helicopters have been at it all day. This is from the end of our road.

It’s very smoky outside. Hopefully, no property is damaged. I heard it jumped the main road towards the coast. I’m hoping to find out more.

Isaiah 50:10
Who among you fears the Lord and obeys the word of his servant?
Let the one who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the Lord and rely on their God.

It’s not about now – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Gran xx
