Building Contract Came

Today the builder came to give us his contract.

It’s a big house and this comes out at about R9500 per square metre….if it’s stuck to. This does not include the funicular, but we have some money put aside for that, so hopefully it will get done not too long after the house is completed.

We haven’t signed it yet. I need to send it to Julian for his perusal and go through the entire document ourselves.

We are waiting for news from the Council that we can pay scrutiny fees. Once that happens, we can get started. Hoping it will be by the end of April. I’m optimistic, but it may be longer.

Today it is 150 days since I got my braces. This makes my life so much easier…

It’s also called super floss. It has a plastic piece every length, so you break it off half way through the plastic section and that becomes the handy threader.

It takes a bit of time to get used to threading it under the wire of each bracket, but I soon found myself getting faster. When I got my bottom teeth braced last week, I found it ridiculously difficult to floss at the bottom, but when you practice you get better and I’ve already found I’m getting a bit quicker. The only con of this floss is that it is quite thick and it fluffs out with use. Sometimes the floss strips as I pull it out and it leaves thin strands of cotton in my mouth.

Still worth it.

Today, I worked, then Werner the builder came. I did a bit more work before going to Bible study. In the afternoon David came, we had coffee and then I worked for the duration of the afternoon. Walked, had dinner and then had a nice long chat with Stacey.

It’s the weekend! Yay!

Psalm 36:5-6

Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, Your justice like the ocean depths.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂

Gym:

Today I really did not have time to go to gym, but I did get to do a 4.63km walk. I got in 10000 steps.

Braces:

Day 150.
