Wednesday
Today was the day…
That dawned cool and overcast. It was windless, so swimming would have been easy but sitting on the bench afterwards would have been cold. There was no sun peeking out from behind winter clouds. The clouds obliterated it completely. Sitting in the morning sun is part of the joy of swimming in the morning. With work to be done, we forewent the pleasure and got on with what needed to be done.
Mike went out to buy some things. I had a meeting. After it, I went out on the balcony for an eye break. I heard voices and then I saw people. The builder and two engineers visiting the building site diagonally behind us. It’s going to be a big house. I was expecting another call so went inside to take that. As soon as it was done, I dashed outside and up the back to find out about the new build. It’s going to be a big house and the piling will begin end of July/August time. It was good to find out. We’ll be watching.
Talking of building. I looked up what was going on 2 years ago today on our plot. The parts for the first kitchen arrived. It all began here…this is the Sea-View Apartment kitchen before…
And after…
I must take photos of the land at the back.
I worked 7 hours and still have more to do.
The sun has set, but it was a gentle one….
Psalm 91:1
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
