4-24pm
I’m just getting my ducks in a row here. I’m sitting in the kitchen evaluating what still needs to be done and faffing about what to do first! I’ve peeled potatoes and am about to pop some crumbed chicken in a pan. There is a salad already made. (I just paused for a moment to stick the chicken in the pan, so that when Mike arrives home in the next few minutes, there is a cooking smell… it’s an age old trick that makes him think I’m organised!) He is the potato masher, so I’ll cook those spuds right after the chicken’s done and then we should be almost done!
Ooh, there he is! Mike is home! 🙂
5-51pm
Dinner is now done and dusted!
I am spending a lot more time at CCFm, which is fun and stimulating! After the show, I stepped outside and snapped a photo of Muizenberg getting into the day…
Then I went down to our 9am prayer meeting… I love to pray with these women…they are from left to right, Carlyn (who reads the news), Jacky (our dynamo receptionist), Robyn (who is our advertising administrator) and Eleanor (who keeps CCFm spic and span!)
I had a couple of really good chats this morning. I finally got home at just after 3pm.
Then I nipped down to the mall to finally take the kettle back…yay for a new one. They said they were no longer stocking the one I returned as they were too faulty. I came home and made tea, without tilting it and shoving a key under it! 🙂
I’ve seen God at work today. It’s amazing how He can work in our hearts and diffuse tension and infuse love.
Romans 8:27 And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will.
