Saturday
Dear Elsie
I am so glad we got to chat today and you got to see the cats. You would have loved what I did today. I went a birthday party arranged by an almost 10 year old. Melody and her cousins arranged a birthday party for her Granny and I went along for the fun. I even had my face painted!
And me with the artist…
Melody gave me a smiley face and a red heart!
We also had pass the parcel, musical statues and hit the pot! Great fun. A party to remember.
When I got home, David had come up to visit and said he was feeling rested enough to go out for dinner so we went to Sav Cafe for ribs. They took a long time to come, but were worth it in the end. Julian & David enjoyed a beer…
Just to clarify – twas an alcohol free beer.
As far as puzzles go, I have got quite far through the Italian one and am slowly making progress through the bougainvillea but I am still in two minds as to whether I should finish. Today I got one from John and Avril – which is for Living Hope second hand shop, but they need to know if there are any pieces missing. At first glance it looks really hard but I spent a few minutes sorting the frame and now I’m excited to get going on it. I’ll post a photo when I start. This is Italy so far.
A happy Saturday.
Psalm 32:7
You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.
It’s not about now – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Gran xx 🙂
