My Saturday Banting recipe has only a few ingredients, is uber easy, very quick and delicious! I saw this recipe in a magazine, but didn’t have all their suggested ingredients so I adapted it and it turned out pretty darn good!
Ingredients:
- 250g bacon, chopped
- 2 avocado pears
- 1/4 cup of garlic wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Method:
- Chop and fry the bacon in butter, until cooked.
- Turn off the heat.
- Add the garlic wine vinegar and olive oil to the bacon.
- Quarter the avocado pear and add to the bacon mixture.
- Leave it to marinate for 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle a quarter of a cup of shredded coconut over the top with ground pepper.
- Serve on a bed of lettuce.
It was REALLY good and REALLY easy!
