This morning I could get out of bed!
And that is #465 of my 1000 thanks! I could get out of bed!
By 7am, Mike and I were in the garden clearing weeds. By 8-20, we were in the car driving to Fish Hoek to meet Julian for breakfast.
After that, we went home and I caught up with my email before heading to the mall for a pedi…summer colour…
I did a bit more work and then had a snooze. Mike bought me tea and I went back into the garden to help him.
At 5-30pm, Julian arrived and we walked to Simon’s Town for dinner. You don’t have to go across the world to find beauty. It is on our doorstep…
Not long after this photo was taken, a storm blew up and there was a lot of thunder and lightening and then rain!
When we got home, I immediately went in search for the cat. I soon found Truffles but she was drenched. We will keep her inside for tonight.
Today I read Psalm 104
Psalm 104:25-26
There is the sea, vast and spacious, teeming with creatures beyond number– living things both large and small. There the ships go to and fro, and Leviathan, which you formed to frolic there.
We saw the ships going to and fro but no Leviathan.
My reflections on the cruise was that it was wonderful! And now I’m going to sleep!
These are the days!
Keep the smile going.
God bless you!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
