There are so many rumours flying around the news services this morning, that one doesn’t know what to believe. Sky News, the BBC, CNN all carried stories of Nelson Mandela’s return to his Houghton 
Home, but now are retracting the story, saying the Presidency says he’s still in hospital! Once again, we don’t quite know what to believe. One of the news agencies quoted their source as one of Madiba’s daughters. So we will have to wait and see if there is any truth in the rumour.
Then Twitter and Facebook are alive with news that there has been a shooting at the Promenade Mall, in Mitchell’s Plain. It’s all a bit hazy exactly what happened, but Twitter messages are coming through looking like this at 12 noon…
On calling the Promenade, I was told there was an incident that happened this morning. 
The control room was not prepared to tell me what happened or if anyone had died but he did say the Mall was open for business and only Entrance 3 was closed and will remain that way for the rest of the day.
Eyewitness news reports that one security guard was killed and another injured as they filled an ATM. Those responsible for the crime left with an unknown amount of cash. The getaway car was a white audi.
John 3:19 ….people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.
God is just and fair and those who commit crimes like this will one day have to answer to the Creator of the universe. It is not about now.
