Mike & I have just got back from Living Hope, Capri, where there is a lot happening today as their open day gets into full swing. It’s on until 2pm. When we arrived, the great Living Hope Car Wash was underway, as cars lined up for a soapy clean…
Great family day…here’s Malakai with “Granny”….
There is a jumping castle….
Plenty of other fun, including a sling shot, food, drinks and professional face painting…(such a cute onlooker!)…
Then Mike & I were given a guided tour of the new Living Hope land. They have put in a row of tunnels for growing vegetables… the seedlings are already on their way…
There is a new project, egg laying hens…
The land extends further south, where there are three detention ponds which are a great place to visit…here’s one around an island in the middle…
A path has been built which makes for a picturesque walk…
If you are in the area, the open day is on until 2pm! Right on our doorstep, we have an amazing organisation that is involved in health care, homelessness and addiction, HIV education and prevention & economic development and job creation projects. Great ministry to support. You can sign up for the DAD project, which is what I did. R100 month. For more info you can visit their website www.livinghope.co.za

The Simonstown Golf Championships begin today, so Mike & I are on our way. We are playing today and tomorrow and then next Saturday and Sunday. For fun, we have gone out and bought matching shirts and caps. That’s a pic for tomorrow!
