A Quiet Day on the Home Front…

2-42pm

This morning, I was able to get to church! It was great. I hadn’t been to a morning service for some weeks. Last week I didn’t go at all (Granny had been poorly!). The week before I think I went to the evening service. As I left home, I took this photo: Chapman’s Peak shrouded in mist…
A rainy day it was. The church service was great…

When I got home, Mike was entertaining Granny. He also made lunch for which I was very grateful. Adrian & Stacey came for lunch. Stacey has resigned from her engineering position and now they are all gearing up for travelling for a year. They fly out from Johannesburg on Wednesday 15th August, but we will probably say goodbye to them a few days before that as they are going via Adrian’s parents. I’ll have to get my skype going. With G-talk, Whatsapp, Facebook etc, I am sure we will be in regular contact. Still, I will miss my darlings!

Mike is sleeping. David and Chris are watching the men’s Wimbledon Finals between Roger Federer and Andy Murray.

For fun……or on Facebook! 🙂

Today I was reading 1 Chronicles 4:10

Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.

Good to be reminded of the Prayer of Jabez. Pray it!

God bless you loads!

In His Grip,

Love Helga xx 🙂
