A Housewife Kind of Day

Friday

Today was the day…

I was like a housewife! Work was very slow – just an hour or two, so I cleaned some of the house. I did laundry, made bread and cooked dinner.

I may have found a tenant for the flat in Fish Hoek. Because it was a quiet day, I ended up on Facebook looking for people looking for accommodation. A lady literally posted a request one minute earlier. I messaged her and she met me at the flat at 4pm this afternoon. She’s very keen to take it, so we’ll have to have Courage wrap up the last bits of cleaning that need to be done.

Before I went to the flat, I stopped by Echo to see progress. Doors and handles are done in the kitchen…

Meanwhile, the light steel frame for our floor is looking fantastic…

The brick wall on the right in the photo above is where Mike and David were standing in this picture below…on 15th October 2019.

Julian’s light steel frame arrived today and has been stacked up on his floor…

Ours can be seen from the patio…

Watch this space. When Julian’s goes up, it will loom. Still pinching myself we are doing this.

Psalm 145:19

The Lord fulfills the desires of those who fear Him; He hears their cry and saves them.

The best is yet to come.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,
