Today was the day…
Mike & I joined Julian and we drove to Hermanus for the day. Mike and I haven’t been there for about 5 years. Julian had a couple of book appointments. Mike & I went along to walk the Cliff Path. You don’t need words to describe the beauty of the famous Cliff Path in Hermanus. It so makes me want to motivate for a similar path between Fish Hoek’s Cat Walk and Glencairn. We first walked down this wooden walk way, which is close to town.
Then we walked around town before taking the car to the other side of Hermanus, having a coffee and then taking to the official Cliff Path. We walked 3km one way and 3km back.
It’s hard to beat for easy exercise in one of the most spectacular coastlines in the world. Two hours out of town, Hermanus is looking pretty good. It has grown but it generally is clean, tidy and well organised.
After our walking, we picked up Julian with his boxes of books just after 2pm and drove up Echo Rd 2 hours later.
Yay! It’s the weekend, although tomorrow I will need to do some work.
