3-31pm
Chocolate & flowers came from David with this spectacular one. After I posted the blog, Merle wrote on FB that it could be a flowering kale. When I googled it, that’s exactly what it appears to be. It seems like a specially cultivated one. It looks like paper, but it’s real. Amazing!
Stacey sent me an SMS from Vietnam. Oh oh oh! She will be home in less than 100 days. 🙂
We drove into town to see Granny, passing a red Ferrari on the way…
Okay, we wouldn’t have passed it, if he hadn’t been turning!
Monica had sent Granny flowers and here she is with Mike and David admiring them…they’re a lovely bouquet….
She is looking frail but well.  We spent some time with her and then walked around the corner and through the Company Gardens to the restaurant where we sat outside in the beautiful shade and enjoyed lunch together. The Company Gardens were a hive of activity of children and grown-ups and birds and squirrels…
… all enjoying the lovely weather. On our way back to the LCH, we passed this…I wouldn’t mind going on it one day…
Off we went home. Here is spectacular Table Mountain from De Waal Drive…
Isaiah 54:10 Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you.
Thank you, Jesus, for your compassion.
And so that has been today. A new week begins tomorrow with lots of fun things to do!
God bless you loads
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
