365 Days Later

Time passes and 365 days have gone by since a crook broke our back door lock, walked in an hour later, while we were at home, took our TV and ran.

1st September 2017 – you can read that blog here.

#774 of my 1000 thanks is that it has been a year and no crook has been in our house. We still had two more intrusions but they didn’t get in!

#775 of my 1000 thanks is that I worked 119 hours this month. It was a good month and there was lots of variety. I enjoyed it.

Today I got a lot of exercise done. It began by me walking 4km to Fish Hoek to meet Julian for breakfast. Mike drove down as well. Then we drove up Echo Rd to see a house currently under construction. The builder is the builder we want to use. The house is nearing completion and there are a number of things in it that we want and a number of things we don’t! We are learning a lot about the Council requirements for building a house and so tomorrow we are going to Homemakers Expo.  Should be interesting. God willing, up there, behind that roof, one day another house may rise from the dirt. The Lord knows.

Can’t touch the current house without a lot of paperwork.

Today Mike did a bit of maintenance; Stacey called and we had a nice long chat. I also did some work and I went to gym. It has been a beautiful day. Hopefully we will get some rain in the days ahead.

My diary has Bible verses each day and for September the theme Our Unchanging God.

Malachi 3:6

For I am the Lord, I do not change, therefore you are not consumed.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
