3-05pm
What a wonderful, memorable day it has been. I was very chipper this morning as the day dawned, windy and bright and I bounced off to the studio with a smile on my face and a spring in my step. David’s final exam!
But first, after the Rise and Shine show, I meandered towards Fish Hoek, along Boyes Drive, stopping to admire the view….
It was a windy day in Cape Town!
Then it was to my weekly meeting with my wonderful friends. The final of the year as we celebrated Monique and Heidi’s birthdays. A dozen lovely ladies…
I left for UCT at 12-15, leaving me PLENTY of time (so I thought) to get to the College of Music. The traffic was something chronic! I got there with three minutes to spare!
David played brilliantly. He was so happy with his performance and so were we…
So that’s that then! One Engineering degree for Stacey. One Music degree for David. Our responsibility for educating our children is officially over! Thank you Jesus for enabling us to do this! Thank you also for & to these two amazingly talented young adults who have given us the easiest journey possible in raising them. We are grateful. Stacey started at pre-school in 1991, so that’s 21 years ago. It’s a momentous day. This weekend we will celebrate!
Psalm 126:3 The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. God bless you enormously!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
