You will be Safe.

4-14pm

It’s Friday!! The weekend came very quickly as my first “working” day this week was yesterday! Right after Rising and Shining I headed home to make deviled eggs. I have always known them as deviled eggs, but I think they are more commonly known in South Africa as stuffed eggs. They date back to Roman times and are so simple to make. Simply hard boil eggs, peel them, slice them in half and scoop out the yolks into a bowl. Finely chop the yolks and mix with mayonnaise and a little mustard if you like. I don’t use mustard, but add a little curry powder. Or mix in some finely chopped onion which will make it a bit more zesty. It is the ‘tang’ that resulted in these eggs to be known as ‘deviled’. Eggs

The eggs were for our Ladies group which meets Friday mornings for a date with none other than Andy Stanley (at the moment). He’s brilliant. A good time was had, followed by a meaningful time of prayer.

But the best was still to come, when we skyped with Stacey in Vietnam…

Stacey in VietnamYay! It was wonderful to speak to her. We must not leave it so long again!

My memorable Bible verse from this morning was John 3:15. Most of us know what John 3:16 says.  But here’s a thing? What does John 3:15 say?

That everyone who believes in Him (Jesus) may have eternal life

These three Bible verses of John 3 emphasize what Jesus did for us…

vs. 15 that everyone who believes in Jesus may have eternal life      vs 16 whoever believes in Jesus shall not perish but have eternal life vs 18 whoever believes in Jesus is not condemned

When Jesus makes these promises that you have heard about, you can trust what He says. You can place your weight of confidence in what He has said. He will not lie to you. He has spoken the truth. Take Him at His word and you will be safe.

Security! It’s something we all want!

God bless you loads!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
