What!?
There I was sitting quietly at my desk, doing very low-key work, when out the corner of my eye, I spotted something on the left side of my computer. I have a number of in-boxes that I clear out each day. There are usually three. The fourth was not my responsibility, but out the corner of my eye I saw the UAE inbox with 375 new emails. I sent a Skype message to the main manager asking who was responsible for clearing it. Hey guess what? It’s me!
Salivating with excitement, I got stuck in but after 50 I had found only 2 usable applications – I felt like jumping over the balcony. I’ve now done more than 100. I’ll carry on doing 100 per day plus clearing what comes in each day, so I’ll finally get through them all and be in control. Not all the ones in the deleted folder were from today. Yay 264 to go.
We have this new recruitment project and it’s great news for me. I’ve done more than 8 hours of work today. I think it is going to be an ongoing thing with lots of potential to keep me occupied.
Changing the subject but very relevant to my life is this illustration that has been doing the rounds. Since the thunder and lightning more than a week ago, I have had very little attention from Truffles my cat….
Yip. That’s Truffles for you!
A lot of time in life, it’s the small things that can bring pleasure.
#576 of my 1000 thanks is for new coffee mugs. I’ve really been enjoying coffee in them.
