Tuesday
Dear Elsie
Today was the day we had another lovely day at Wolfkop. I started the day by doing a bit of work and then we went for a walk before it got too hot. We walked across to the newest house on the reserve which has not yet been stayed in. As with all the houses here, there are sweeping views…
The rest of the day was spent at such leisure. It was hot so time at the pool was mandatory.
John and Avril on the quad-bike…
Mike and I watched cricket, but then this happened…John was the photographer and the comment at the bottom is his!
It was wonderful having an afternoon nap. Later we went for another walk – this time Mike and I found the path that meanders through the bush…
It does a loop, coming out at the new house…
We followed the road back to our place…
I enjoyed the jacuzzi and Mike joined me for a quick dip before dinner.
Dinner was another enormous meal. Electricity went off at 8pm and we were plunged into darkness. Fortunately, there were a few solar lights, so we sat chatting for 2 hours before the lights came back on.
We’ve had a wonderful time & thanks to John and Avril for inviting us. Tomorrow we head home, but Wolfkop is a good place to know about.
Isaiah 25:8
The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces; He will remove His people’s disgrace from all the earth. The Lord has spoken.
We long for that day.
It’s not about now – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Gran xx 🙂
