Today was a day off and a day out. A bunch of us – 8 ladies (and two gentlemen drivers) set off up the West Coast. Destination: Kapteins Kloof. Our friend Melanie and her husband Billy relocated here early last year and are busy working on maintaining, managing and extending their beautiful 3 hectare smallholding. It has a wonderfully historic farmhouse, guesthouse, stables and gardens.
This is the guesthouse section…
It has picturesque gardens….
And a refreshing swimming pool…
We got to enjoy the gardens and the company…
It was a lovely day of friends coming together and just enjoying all that Melanie had dreamed of. No water issues there.
#620 of my 1000 thanks is for a safe trip and the making of happy memories.
A precious day.
We arrived home about an hour ago and I see I have 22 emails in my inbox. Mike had sorted supper and now I am, believe it or not, drinking coffee at 7-35pm. Surely this will be a late night. I am sure to be able to get through some of the email and when I need a break, I can happily join Mike in watching the Masters!
Romans 8:18
I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
Keep the faith. God has not abandoned you and He never will.
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
