Thanks to everyone who follows us on the Facebook page. It’s great to see your faces! After a busy show, I went visiting this morning. Through the roadworks in Kalk Bay, stopping for a short while and while waiting, enjoying a beautiful day…

I visited beautiful Gail, who made me a yummy omelet and hazelnut coffee which was delish….

It was great to see her and spend time with her.

Then I went to gym and now I’m home, not having to cook tonight because we have lots of leftovers from last night. I mentioned a guest from the US coming to stay. He arrived on Monday night and last night I finally got a photo of him for my blog….meet Scott…

Today’s been a great day, but the main thing that goes through my mind today is that 27 years ago I received this….

Yes, I got engaged. My simple ring has worn well. It’s got a bit thinner with wear, but it still reminds me of Jesus being the centre of two very frail human beings. He sparkles between us, keeping us steady and firm in His grip.

To my husband, Mike, I’m crazy about you! 🙂   When I think of you, I think of Ephesians 5:25. You have been a true example to me. Your humility & ongoing care and ministry towards the poor and needy of this world are a continual inspiration to me. You do all things well. I feel treasured by you and am forever grateful to the Lord for answering your prayer when you were 13 and I was ‘in production’. God has indeed been very good to us!  I am loving this season of our lives and look forward to the latter being greater than the former. Thank-you for being my best friend, my soul mate, my lover, my companion, my shoulder to cry on, my help meet, my encouragement, my voice of reason, my teacher, my guide and my mentor.

Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her.
