The Time Will Be Right

There’s always a right time. I’ve felt that in small ways and in big ways recently. Suddenly, a few weeks ago, it became the right time to seriously look at building.  Stacey found Elsie knew when it was the right time for her grand arrival. On the very tiny scale of important things in life, today was the right to vacuum clean the house!

How often have you heard me say “today I vacuumed the house?”

Right.

Probably never.

Be happy, Gentlemen that you are not married to me. I must be the world’s worse house keeper! Fortunately, my husband is patient and kind and overlooks my (many) flaws.

We have the worst vacuum cleaner which does not help my enthusiasm for the task. It is probably more than a dozen years old and is useless.

It is my nemesis because sometimes when I pull it, it falls over and dust flies everywhere.  I have been known to have a tantrum over this ugly yellow beast. This photo was taken after I finished and you can see there is a crumb leftover.

But, having fully insulted it, I have to unhappily conclude that despite it being the worst sucker there is, it is still more efficient than a broom. I sweep in-between vacuuming and I can tell the difference. Today the time was right for me to clean the vacuum cleaner and then vacuum the lounge and piano room. It is much better.

Yay!

Apart from work today, I also managed to get some shopping done.

#689 of my 1000 thanks is I got to replace my falling apart gym pants. 🙂  There was something else I bought. Granny can’t help it!

So now we are ready for another road trip. Cat is sorted. House is sorted. We leave early tomorrow. The time is right.

1 John 5:20

We know that the Son of God has come, and He has given us understanding so that we can know the true God. And now we live in fellowship with the true God because we live in fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ.

Truth!

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂

Gym: This morning I felt I had completely overdone it yesterday, so I chose not to do the grid, but went at a slower pace.

  • Fast walk – 30 minutes
  • Machines – 30 minutes

For the rest of the week, I am resting, but if I do do any low-key exercise it will be swimming and perhaps walking on the golf course.
