The Real Exercise Was…

Tuesday

Dear Elsie

Today was the day that was to be relatively quiet at work so I got to take Julian to the airport. So that was once down the stairs and back up again. Then I went shopping for David so that was twice down the stairs and back up again.  The real exercise was I forgot my cell phone in the car after the shopping trip, so third time down the stairs and back up again. 255 steps. I need to do more exercise than that, but it was okay for today.

David got his Wagyu – favourite biltong of all time.

Meanwhile, Mike has been experimenting again. This time, he’s taken a look at all the chips of stone that get broken off the rocks and wondered how he could use them. After some experimenting, he made a frame and started making concrete and stone chip tiles. They have worked out really well.

They are a bit too rough to walk on but they will look great on a wall that may need neatening up or on top of the walls. They have so much texture and we have lots of rock off cuts so the material is easily available.

Mike has been in touch with Paul Giloi today so it’s all systems go for the building of the wall on the plot behind.

It’s been great having a few quieter work days.  It doesn’t stay like this so I must enjoy it while it lasts.

Psalm 123:2
As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a female slave look to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, till He shows us His mercy.

It’s not about now – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Gran xx 🙂
