There are always things to be grateful for. Today was a really chilled rest day. We woke up early, had coffee and then went back to sleep again. Later, I dropped Mike at Clovelly for him to practice at the driving range and I went onto do some shopping. I had breakfast alone reading the Sunday Times. How civil was that?
Shopping done, I returned to Clovelly where Mike was just wrapping up. Lunch was assembled and eaten. David took Julian to the airport and I had a nap! What a treat. I woke up on David’s return. This evening, Mike and I watched two episodes of The Good Wife.
This was sunset…
It’s a warm evening and the mosquitoes have been in having dinner on my feet, so I’ve now sprayed peaceful sleep all over them. Bit late I think!
# 586 of my 1000 thanks is my bed. I love to make it each morning and I love to get into it each night. It gives me a lot of pleasure! It is a gift, but there is a greater one I have.
Ephesians 2:6
God saved you by His grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.
And one to be cherished.
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
