3-59pm
Such a lazy day today. No pressure. The best is yet to come, because tonight we have our church’s 60th birthday celebration. ๐ I woke up early , watched some cricket, did my Bible reading and then lazily went back to sleep! While I was going back to sleep, Mike woke up and went into his ‘energizer bunny’ mode. He has a gift. He decides something needs to be done and he sweeps through the house like a whirlwind, tossing out, sorting, moving, and generally creating order out of what has been a bit of chaos! I always stand amazed at how he can do it.ย When I look again, things are all sorted and only a short period of time has lapsed. He’s a genius. I, Ms Messy, just don’t have this gift. Thank you my Darling. You are the best! ๐ย Here he is watering the garden…
We cleared the guest room and moved the bed to the cottage. We also took delivery of the new double bed we bought on Wednesday. Here it is waiting for linen…
Graham & Jenny, you get to sleep on it first. Julian, you will be next. ๐
The day was sunny, a little hazy with some wind…
The sun is welcome because our solar heaterย is working very well. We were using close to 30 units a day using electricity. With the solar heater tapping into the sun’s rays, we are now averaging 15 units a day….and on a day like today, there’s no lack of hot water…58C and increasing.
The other thing I noticed today is although the sun is shining brightly, the vine is beginning to ‘turn’…
Some autumn leaves appearing. Soon they will all drop off.
Daniel 2:21 “He changes times and seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding”.
God is in control.
In HIS Grip,
