Friday
Today was the day…
Our bath got put in place. It had been stored on the ground floor, looked at with interest by all who passed by. Some raised their eye-brows. It was an unexpected purchase. I had just had jaw surgery and was convalescing when Mike and Julian went off shopping. Next thing I had a photo of this bath whatsapped to me. It was a bath of great stature! A tub of note. Today it got put in its final resting place.
It was carried up from the ground floor…
To the landing over the massive rocks that still need to be moved…
Up the internal stairs…
And into place…
I had to try it out…
Quite fun!
I worked this afternoon and this evening we had dinner with Julian and David. Mike has made good progress this week and hopefully will have a few more restful days ahead while he waits for wood to be delivered.

Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will live in hope.
The best is yet to come.
Keep the smile going.
