Saturday
Dear Elsie
Today was the day I came to see you! And here you are standing next to me watching me write these words. I love you my darling! I drove through with Julian who dropped me here and then drove onto Sedgefield to buy some books. I woke up to this sunrise.
Before leaving for Swellendam, I managed to fit in a 30 minute walk. To my surprise there were the very early risers (12 of them) swimming at 6.30am.
Julian and I had an uneventful trip. We arrived around 10am. Julian said hello and drove on. We had a fun time all day long. There was a lot of fun playing with Pennie!
You jumping onto the couch to throw the ball for Pennie.
Pennie bouncing after it…
Stacey doing a rubix cube.
And of course, Elsie, Mindtest is your game of the day. You love playing it.
The weather in Swellendam is warm…
We are grateful for the air-conditioner.
We are waiting for it to be a bit cooler and then we will go for a walk. We can be sure of a Swellendam sunset this evening.
Love being here.
Today I started the fast-paced, jump right in, Gospel of Mark.
Mark 1:1
The beginning of the good news about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God…
It’s not about now – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Gran xx 🙂
