2-52pm
It’s certainly not called the Cape of Storms for nothing! They warned of strong winds and heavy rain, but I didn’t anticipate that it would completely blow one of my bedroom windows out of its frame.
The day began with storm clouds gathering…
I got home and found Mavis running around trying to prevent our bedroom from flooding! One of our bedroom windows had blown right out of the frame….
Wind and rain was pouring in through the window, so I phoned Mike and while he was coming home, I did a serious patch-it job with a towel and cable ties…Mavis was impressed!
I took Mavis home…this is her neighbourhood…
A few minutes after I got home, Mike arrived by which stage the wind had already dropped and we could actually get outside onto the balcony….
And now the sun is shining, although there is still a bit of a breeze.
Psalm 107:25 For He spoke and stirred up a tempest that lifted high the waves. 29 He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed.30 They were glad when it grew calm, and He guided them to their desired haven.
The soup is ready for blending. 🙂
I hope you are warm and dry!
God bless you loads!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
