Saturday
Dear Elsie
Today was the day I had special friends visit, making it a very special day. I am so sorry I didn’t get more photos. Most of these friends go back decades. I have been in their homes, have prayed with them and for them, cried with them and they are people I run to for prayer and support. The last couple to arrive came from Melkbosstrand. I got a photo of them. Paul and Nadine.
Riana made an amazing Carrot Cake. Thanks John for the photo…
Freedom Foods platter and then Courage made me a chocolate cake!
My heart (& tummy) are full.
At 5ish I went for a long windy walk, passing one of my favourite views of Fish Hoek. This is from Berg Rd.
A busy but fulfilling day comes to an end. I think I sucked the marrow out of turning 60.
Psalm 107:1
Given thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.
It’s not about now – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Gran xx 🙂
